President's MessageHello and welcome to 2011,Our Fall workshop was held in Canmore November 3rd – 4th at the Radisson Hotel and was extremely well received. We would like to continue to provide these types of workshops on an ongoing basis and would appreciate any suggestions that our membership may have for upcoming topics. This year’s spring conference will be held at the Capri Centre in Red Deer once again and we are anticipating a very large turnout. This year’s conference theme is T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) and our keynote speaker will be 2010 Vancouver Olympic Gold medalist Kevin Martin. I am certainly looking forward to his presentation and I’m sure you are as well. In our everyday lives, both at work and at home, we can get caught up in all of the commotion going on around us at any given time. My suggestion would be that we all take a moment every so often, step back (as much as possible) and take in all of the positives that also surround us. In addition to this, I would like to acknowledge all of our staff that we work with and how they play such an important role in making us succeed in our daily endeavors. A special THANK YOU to all of you… I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to everyone that I have had the pleasure of interacting with over the last three and half years as president. I would strongly encourage anyone who is considering being part of the SPOSA Executive to do so, you will make many great new friends and have some wonderful experiences. I have really enjoyed this time and feel very fortunate to have been part of the SPOSA Executive. Thank you to all of you for your outstanding support and a special thank you to our present Executive.
